This is one of the killer gadget from Garmin. The name of this gadget is Garmin StreetPilot® c340 GPS Receiver. Eventhough it looks like a normal GPS, but I am very interested with the text-to-speech feature. This GPS device can now tell you the names of upcoming streets and points of interest, instead of more-generic commands. Your driving will even get smooth.
Not only that, this GPS also can shows you congested traffic areas via color-coded maps, but to take advantage of this feature, you’ll have to purchase the optional traffic receiver. This feature lets users avoid traffic by simply pushing a button that will calculate a new route.
As for myself, it’s very easy to operate. Simply touch the sunlight-readable color screen to enter a destination, and the c340 takes you there with 2D or 3D maps. Not only that, this portable c340 is easily moves from vehicle to vehicle. Its suction cup windshield mount is a snap to install. So if you have more than one car, I think this will be the perfect GPS for you.
